Dress Code

Girls 7th - 12th ·  Girls K3 - 6th ·  Boys 7th - 12th ·  Boys K3 - 6th

Students out of dress code will be sent to the office. Parents will be notified and required to bring the proper clothing items for their child to return to class. The Administrator may suspend a student out of dress code for the following day of school. The parents will then be required to meet with the Administrator before the student may return to the Academy. Please make sure your child adheres to the dress code policy, as it is strictly enforced.

All students are required to wear a short sleeve, knit collar golf shirt/polo shirt in solid red, white, or navy. Shirts are to be tucked in at all times. During the winter months, students are permitted to wear long sleeve shirts in solid white or pale blue. Boys may wear a long sleeve dress shirt. Girls may wear a long sleeve oxford blouse.
Girls 7th - 12th
Girls are required to wear skirts in solid navy or khaki. No ruffles or long slits. Hem must cover the knee when in a seated position. Shirt must be tucked in at all times.
Pantyhose may be worn that is conducive to the natural skin color. Knee high socks or tights of solid white, navy, or cream color may be worn during the winter months.
Fingernails are to be modest in length. Clear fingernail polish or colors of pale pink are permitted. No dark colors, sparkles/glitter, or appliques are permitted.
Make-up may be worn, however it must be light and natural looking. No dark eye shadow, lipstick, or eye liner will be tolerated.
Girls K3 - 6th
Girls are required to wear jumpers in solid navy or khaki. No ruffles or long slits. Straight or pleated styles are permitted. Hem must cover the knee when in a seated position.
Anklet socks in solid red, white, navy, khaki, or cream may be worn. Tights in solid navy, white, or cream may be worn during the winter months. No stripes or designs are permitted. No Pantyhose.
Boys 7th - 12th
Boys are required to wear docker pleated pants in solid navy or khaki. They must be worn at the waist (not hip area). No excessive bagginess or sagging in the crotch area or ankle area. Parachute pants will not be tolerated. Shirt must be tucked in at all times. A belt must be worn at all times and failure to do so results in being out of dress code.
Boys K3 - 6th
Boys are required to wear docker pleated pants in solid navy or khaki. They must be worn at the waist (not hip area). No excessive bagginess or sagging in the crotch area or ankle area. HAIR

All boys are to have "off the collar" and "off the ear" haircuts.

Hair must be clean, neat, and combed at all times. Hair color and style must be natural in appearance. No spiked, excessive gel, mousse, or latest fad hairstyles are permitted. Hair should be short enough in length on the top of the head that it does not hang down in to the eyes.

SHOES

Girls
Shoes for all girls are to be a closed-type shoe. No spiked heels, sandals, clogs, open-toe, swing-back, jellies, or tennis shoes are permitted. Saddle oxfords, small pumps, Mary Jane's, flats, or loafers may be worn. Style must be age-appropiate as well. Tennis shoes and sneakers are for P.E. class and Recess time only and are not to be worn in the classroom.
Boys
Shoes for all boys are to be a closed-type shoe. Loafers, boots, and dress shoes are permitted. Tennis shoes and sneakers are for P.E. and Recess time only and are not to be worn in the classroom.

SWEATERS/JACKETS

Solid color red, white, or navy only. No designs, appliques, or stripes. Button-up sweaters are permitted in the classroom. Pull-over dress sweaters are permitted for the boys. No Sweatshirts or hooded jackets will be permitted in the classroom. These are to be worn outside. No vests of any kind are permitted. The school uniform jacket may be worn in the classroom.

JEWELRY

Girls may wear up to two(2) gold or silver necklaces and bracelets. No more than two will be permitted. A maximum of two(2) rings per hand. Earrings must be small in size, including hoops. One pair of earrings only. No dangling earrings are permitted.

Boys may wear one(1) necklace underneath the shirt. It must be kept underneath the shirt at all times. No Earrings.

FIELD TRIPS

All Students must adhere to the Academy's Dress Code on field trips.

Chaperones are required to adhere to the following dress code:
Ladies: Dress or Skirt. No Pants are permitted.
Gentlemen: Slacks, or Dress Pants. No Jeans or T-Shirts are permitted.

Parents are to refrain from smoking in the presence of students and understand that the Teacher has full authority while on a field trip, even if your child is in the class. Any parent not willing to comply with this policy will be denied chaperoning future field trips. The Academy is responsible for all students during school hours.
